Emett lives in The Whitsundays in Queensland, Australia. A retired Australian Army veteran, he now spends most of his time with his wife and 4 children as well as volunteering at the sea turtle rescue centre where he lives. Musically, he was trained in various instruments and singing from a young age through The Salvation Army and continues to hold a love for music. Emett often writes and performs under the pseudonym Remington Reed and posts covers and originals on his Facebook and YouTube accounts, @reedomusic.
